Her comic timing is nearly nonexistent, so the hilarity is dulled to ho-hum. She sounds self-satisfied, which is not suitable for an inept bounty hunter who keeps losing her quarry and can't get her life together. She can't do other voices AT ALL - I couldn't believe how godawful the other characters' voices are. She has a speech defect, so every S comes out like she's hissssing in your ear. King seems to be a popular reader, and for the life of me I cannot understand why. I'm going to keep this one so that I can post a review, but I'm returning 8-12, and maybe someday I will read the rest of the series in ebook form, but the joy is gone. I bought extra credits in order to buy Books 7-12 so I wouldn't have to stop listening.
